Sunday School

Sunday School is an opportunity for students to connect with Jesus, adult leaders who love and care for them, and their friends as they study Scripture and learn how it makes a difference in their life.  Each Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30am students gather together in the Youth Center for fellowship and announcements before splitting into groups.

6th-8th Grade

LOCATION: Youth Activity Center     LEADERS: Brent & Rebecca Wilson

9th Grade Learning Community

LOCATION: YC16 (Youth Center)   LEADERS: J Nelson, Lauren Sledge, Stan Roberts, Lynn Ladner, Courtney Streeter, CUMC Clergy, and Katherine Jordan.

At various points during the year, 9th grade students will be invited to step outside the Youth Center walls to visit an Adult Sunday School class or a small group composed of 10-12th grade students. The goal of these experiences is to give your child a feel for what it looks like to be part of the larger church body and to prepare them for the realities that exist beyond high school.
(See Confirmation for more detailed information about 9th grade year.)
